It’s super cute and the mechanism works great. I got two, one for myself and a friend, and they both open in different directions. One opens at the bottom, the other at the top like a regular cigarette box. I know the description mentions imperfections so I can’t really do anything about it, but there is something disappointing about not having the satisfaction about being able to open it upright like a proper cigarette box. I’m sure I’ll get over it, but be aware if you’re as “into” the idea of it as me.
